Look Linen Co. Lessons

Learn the art of gracious bed dressing from our founders

What is the secret to an irresistible bed? Combining comfort, style, and a few thoughtful details that reflect your personality. You’ll want to create a restful setting with soft, high-quality sheets, a plush duvet or comforter, and plenty of pillows. Layer in texture and height next with quilts, throws, and shams.

As Texans, we can attest that no Southern bedroom is complete without personalized touches: Custom linens are the bow on top of a beautifully made bed. Evoke a timeless sensibility in your space with our thoughtful collection of Look Linen Co. monogram styles.

The Traditional Bed

For a traditional look, we recommend starting with either our Banded or Scalloped sheet set.

Step 1: Lay the flat sheet face down on the bed and fold the top edge back about 12” to showcase the decorative trim.

Step 2: Depending on the size of your bed, layer the monogrammed shams in front of your sleeping pillows.

Step 3: End on a sumptuous note by folding our plush comforter and duvet cover at the foot of the bed.

For a Queen size bed, we love the look of two Euro shams paired with a decorative lumbar or a set of monogrammed standard shams.

For a King size bed, try three Euro shams with a large lumbar or monogrammed King shams for an elegant, balanced combination.

Style tip: Our signature pillow inserts are designed to present a full, robust sham shape that will stand the test of time.

The Tailored Bed

For a sleek, minimalist look, begin with our Banded sheet set.

Step 1: Tuck your sheets neatly under your mattress to give a clean, structured finish. Think hospital corners.

Step 2: Layer our classic diamond pique coverlet on top for added texture and a bold band of color.

Step 3: Bedmaker’s choice: Let the coverlet hem fall loosely to show off the bound edge or tuck it in for a tidier appearance.

Step 4: Add a pair of King or Standard shams, depending on your bed size, featuring one of our minimalist monogram styles.

Style tip: For a truly pared-back look, a comforter and duvet cover are optional.
