Washing

  • Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water
  • Use a mild detergent void of any bleaches, whiteners, or fabric softeners
  • Always wash linens separately, not with other laundry as this could damage the fibers and threads
  • It is best to not pour detergent directly onto your linens, rather in the water.

Drying

  • Natural fibers will wrinkle, but there are ways to minimize the wrinkles.
  • Tumble dry on low heat to protect the natural fibers and to avoid shrinkage.
  • Do not overdry. Remove linens promptly while still slightly damp and smooth out with your hands or you may iron to remove any remaining wrinkles
  • Do not use dryer sheets or fabric softeners as this is damaging to the natural fibers.
  • Avoid overloading your dryer so that your bedding may dry more evenly.

Ironing

  • Iron while slightly damp for best results.
  • To preserve embroidery always iron on the reverse side
